The primary objective of routine maintenance for a molding machine is to ensure stable operation, extend its service life, and minimize the likelihood of malfunctions. First and foremost, a basic inspection and cleaning of the equipment should be performed before and after every use; this includes the machine body surface, the mold area, and critical components such as guide rails and sliders, to ensure there is no accumulation of residual material, dust, or grease. Concurrently, fasteners-particularly those in the mold mounting area-should be checked for looseness to prevent misalignment or damage during operation.

 

Furthermore, the lubrication system is a key focus of routine maintenance; lubricating oil or grease should be replenished periodically in accordance with the equipment's specifications to ensure the smooth movement of all moving parts and to minimize wear. Regarding the electrical system, wiring connections should be checked regularly to ensure they are secure, and the control panel should be verified to be functioning correctly, thereby preventing equipment failure caused by poor contact or component aging. During prolonged periods of operation, it is also essential to monitor the equipment for any anomalies-such as unusual noises, vibrations, or excessive temperature rises-and to promptly identify and resolve potential hazards. Through standardized routine maintenance practices, the operational efficiency and safety of the molding machine can be effectively enhanced, while downtime for repairs is significantly reduced.
